The Q-Fin Ultimate Set is a combination of the F1200 deburring and grinding machine (for sheet metal parts up to 1200 mm wide), the F200 XL (for sheet metal parts from 10 resp. 20 mm to 200 mm wide) and the WES6000 wet-working extractor.

The F1200 is suitable for finishing sheet metal parts from 80 up to 1200 mm wide. Equipped with a vacuum or magnet system. Minimum product dimensions 80 x 80 mm (for the vacuum version). The magnet version is only suitable for finishing steel and other ferrous parts. The vacuum version is suitable for the finishing of stainless steel, aluminium, steel and other non-ferrous parts.

The F200 XL is specially designed to finish sheet metal parts from 10 mm up to 200 mm wide, equipped with a vacuum or magnet system. Minimum product-measurements magnet-version (suitable for steel and other ferrous parts): 10 x 10 mm. Minimum product-measurements for the vacuum-version (suitable for stainless steel, aluminium, steel and other non-ferrous parts): 20 x 20 mm.

Both deburring machines can be combined with one extraction system. With the WES6000 from Q-Fin fire risk is excluded. With this wet-working extraction system you can extract grinding dust without the loss of pressure. The extractor is entirely made of stainless steel and has an extraction capacity of 6000 m3/h. With the WES6000 you also avoid the risk of explosion when grinding aluminium parts.

Q-Fin is supports a small machine for small products and a large machine for larger products. The ultimate combination of these machines ensures that you can work with all common products between 10 mm resp. 20 mm and 1200 mm wide.

Explanation

Operation F200 XL

In the standard version, the first station of the F200 is one grinding head. The abrasive belt removes the burrs and/or laser pierce points from the product surface. You can change the grain size of the abrasive belt, depending on the height and hardness of the burr. Changing the abrasive belt will take less than one minute.

The second and third station are brushes. These brushes can break the sharp edges of the product and/or provide these with a rounding. Furthermore, the brush gives a smooth finish to the surface. By applying a second brush, compared to the F200, the XL gives an even smoother finish to the surface.

Operation WES6000

WES is short for ‘Wet Extraction System’ and is the easiest, safest and most sustainable way to extract grinding dust according to Q-fin. With the wet-operating dust extractor, fire and explosion hazards are excluded.
The WES6000 is a 7.5 kW extraction system with a wet filter, with a capacity of approx. 6000 m3/h. The extraction system is standard equipped with a electrical floating valve controlling the water volume and levels.

Operation F1200

With the F1200 from Q-Fin you can deburr, grind and/or finish sheet materials in one pass. Depending on the materials to be processed, you chose for a system with vacuum or magnet support (or for non-ferrous and ferrous materials). The conveyor belt is tuned to this.

The first station of the F1200 is a grinding unit. The grinding belt of this aggregate removes the burrs and/or burn-in points from the product surface. You can determine the grain size of the grinding belt yourself, depending on the height and hardness of the burr. Standard we deliver a grinding belt with grain size K120 on the machine. If you do not have any burrs, you can leave the grinding belt off or remove it. It is also possible with a finer grinding belt (K320) to apply a line finish to your product or to finish with a scotch-brite belt.

The second and third station consists of the so-called brush unit, equipped with 4 cross-rotating, oscillating brushes. This allows you to remove the sharp edges of the product by breaking the edges or providing a (large) radius. Also the finish of the surface (more high gloss) can be adjusted by the brush selection.

The installation of special brushes also makes the F1200 with magnet system very suitable for removing slag or oxide layer from steel products.
